Cancer and cancer treatments can have a profound effect on the body with some symptoms lasting long after treatment has finished. I will help support you in your cancer recovery; help to rebuild the strength in your body through physical exercises; teach you how, and when, to exercise to reduce fatigue; and work with you to improve your fatigue. We will set targets and goals to improve your health and wellbeing, and work on your motivation to keep making exercise part of your life, helping reducing the chances of recurrence of the disease. The 10-week programme will embed the knowledge that you need and prepare you to move forward with a more active, confident and independent life post-cancer. If you are currently awaiting treatment, I also offer prehab packages. Being as fit as possible before your treamtment can help you withstand the treatments better, prepare you physically and mentally, and improve your post treatment recovery times. If you are wanting to get fit before you start your cancer journey, I also offer Pre-Hab packages.

We may may start with simple seated exercises and gentle progressive stretching when you are ready all the way up to body weight exercises before adding in resistance training. This is a personalised programme working with your fitness levels, helping you recover and supporting you in your journey. Yes, as soon as you have been given the all clear by your medical team. Plans are adapted to your specific needs, with work on flexibility and stabilisation exercises as well as cardiovascular fitness and strength. We provide a whole-body approach to rehab to improve your functional fitness and return you to everyday activities, hobbies or new challenges.
Yes, as long as you have medical approval to continue. The type and intensity of the exercises will vary depending upon what treatment you are having and how you are feeling. Bia Warrior Cancer Rehab will help you to manage symptoms and work with your body.
Yes, the programme is fully adaptable to you following an in-depth initial consultation. We will work with you to support your needs and ensure all exercises are appropriate for you. You will always have an opportunity to discuss any concerns during regular check-ins with your coach.
